"The 12 Prophets of Error"
Between 1798 and 1948, 12 thinkers—"Prophets of Error"— influenced western civilization to retreat from scriptural truth in almost every major field of study—including literature, biology, geology, ethics, history, economics, government, hermeneutics, theology, physics, psychology, and pedagogy.
In a concise whirlwind trip through some of the most famous figures in modern western thought, this talk sketches the individual and collective influence of Wordsworth, Lyell, Kierkegaard, Marx, Darwin, Nietzsche, Wellhausen, Freud, Dewey, and Einstein. Powerpoint slides accompany the presentation that show the thinkers themselves and people and things associated with them.
The talk concludes by explaining that only through parent-directed homeschooling can our children be taught the truth in these areas of study, and the vital importance of protecting our liberty. Parents who hear this talk will have a new and compelling reason to believe that homeschooling is exactly the right choice.
The host organization is requested to provide a screen for displaying the slides and, if possible, a power-point projector. Preferably the location will permit lights to be dimmed for optimum slide visibility

"The Parental Rights Amendment: The Battle of the Century"
Scott Woodruff describes how recent developments in America and Europe are flashing warning signals to us that basic parental rights are in jeopardy. Some rights, like freedom of the press, freedom of speech, and freedom of religion, get the highest protection because they are specifically listed in the Constitution. But the right upon which our ability to homeschool rests, the right of a parent to direct the education and upbringing of a child, is not listed. Only an amendment to the Constitution will preserve what we have won after decades of struggle. The battle of the century has begun.
